Mountain View

Kiribathgala Mountain which is just opposite to the hotel, is approximately 800 meters high and is covered in dense forest, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. The mountain is also known for its historical significance, as it is believed to have been used as a hideout by King Walagamba during the ancient times. In recent years, Kiribathgala Mountain has become a popular destination for adventure sports such as rock climbing, camping, and zip-lining, as well as for educational tours and research activities.

Many Trekkers ascend the mountain annually using some available footpaths. The strenuous hike can be challenging, but the unique experience and spectacular landscape awaiting you at the peak is worth the hike.

The hotel is facing the Kiribathgala Mountain and all rooms of the hotel are opened to the mountain view. Popping up of the mist from the thick jungle area in the Pelmadulla valley and covering up the Kiribathagala mountain, forming a cloud show, thin and thick clouds moving around the mountainous range is an splendid scenery and unique to the location which you cannot entertain in any other hotel in Sri Lanka. Here the Kiribathgala Mountain act as a shield to the cloud show, the forming and moving of clouds across the valley, which is a very rear phenomena and add unforgettable memories to your journey.
